Gymnastic Classes Overview:
In every class students will practice on vault, bars, beam, floor and the trampoline. They will learn techniques and disciplines that aide in teaching body awareness as well as a knowledge basis of skills that will help them further there path in gymnastics or to whichever road they take!

Beginning Gym
Age Range: 7 and up

This class introduces students to the foundational skills that they will need to be successful in gymnastics. Students will learn gymnastics terminology, the basic gymnastics shapes (tuck, pike, and straddle), and basic stretches and strength drills. These students will be introduced to a variety of gymnastics events including floor, vault, balance beam, uneven bars, and parallel bars using equipment that is safe for beginners. Key Skills: Donkey Kicks and Forward Rolls (Floor), Stretch Jump (Vault), Backward Walks (Balance Beam), Straddle Hang.
KinderGym
Age Range: 5 to 6 yrs

Classes designed to test and challenge student’s flexibility, movement and control. Basic skill development begins and students become aware of gymnastics terminology. The importance of stretching is emphasized and students become aware of their bodies through hand-eye coordination drills and skill building lessons. Key Skills: Donkey Kicks, Forward Rolls, Straight Jumps, Tuck Jumps, Straddle Jumps.
Advanced Gym
Age: Based on Skill Level
Students at this level are beginning to explore movements and skills on all events that require “flipping” and spinning. The extended class time gives students the practice they need to build the solid foundation required for entirely new skill sets. We encourage these students to also take advantage of our back hand spring and tumbling clinics that are held on the first Saturday of every month. Key Skills: Front Handspring and Back Handsprings with a spotter (Floor), Punch to Handstand Fall Flat (Vault), Half Turn and Handstand (Balance Beam), Mill Circle and Front Hip Circle (Uneven Bars).
Pre Team/TeAM
Highest levels of gymnastics. Preparation for competition.
Ninja Challenge
Age Range: 6-14yrs

This class is fun and challenging. Focusing on fitness, fun , agility and competition within the class.
Starting with some warm up, stretching, drill then challenging the kids in a timed obstacle course of jumping, balancing, climbing, crawling and grabbing, pulling and swinging. Finishing up with some conditioning to build strength & balance.
Tiny Ninjas
Age Range: 3-5yrs
45 min. Session
This class will focus on coordination, balance and fun. We will concentrate of the basic desires of the kids to do simple tumbling, crawling, jumping, hanging and balance throughout our obstacle course. They will learn to assist each other and use encouragement to reach a goal. This class incorporates fundamental fitness skills with gym, conditioning and a ninja obstacle course. This is a great way to give your child a work out and have fun doing it. Rope swings, rings, trampolines, monkey bars all in a safe padded facility.
Intermediate
Age Range: Based on Skill Level
1 hr Session
Students have mastered basic gymnastics skills. As gymnasts progress it takes more time to master new skills due to gaining the proper muscle strength and body control. Gymnasts can expect that it will be longer before they advance to the next level. Key Skills: Handstand Forward Roll and Bridge Kickover (Floor), Dive Roll (Vault), Tuck Jump and Scale. 3/4 handstand (Balance Beam), Pullover and Back Hip Circle (Uneven Bars).
Tot Open Gym
Age Range: 6 months to 3 yrs
1 Hour Session
Adults and children participate together through an obstacle course designed to strengthen the child’s: hand-eye coordination, balance, motor skills, creativity and socialization. Perfect for a toddler that is gaining their balance and/or learning how to follow directions! Parents must supervise. PLEASE> If you need to bring an older sibling they may NOT play on floor or Equipment. They are welcome to help supervise and walk around or wait on the bleachers. This class is designed for safe play for our tiny ones.
Tumbling Only Gym
Age Range: Based on Skill Level
55 min Session
This class is to work only tumbling skills. Students use spring floors, spring boards and trampolines to understand skills. This is a great class for any cheerleaders who want to improve their flipping or an athlete who wants to understand tumbling skills.
Twinklers
Age Range: 3-4 yrs
45 min. Session
Classes designed for young students who are eager to learn and follow direction well. They will be challenged to use hand-eye coordination as well as balance and motor skills. Parents are encouraged to assist child in class.
Main skills focused on Forward rolls, Backward rolls, Straight/Tuck/Straddle jumps.
Home School Fitness Class
Ages 5 and up
This class is structured as well as fun and challenging. Focusing on fitness, fun , agility and competition within the class.
Starting with some warm up, stretching, drills then challenging the kids in a timed obstacle course of some gymnastics skill training , jumping, balancing, climbing, crawling and grabbing, pulling and swinging. Finishing up with some conditioning to build strength & balance. It ends with 15 min of free play.
Neurodivergent Class- Ages 5-11 -New program-
Welcome to our New Neurodivergent Gymnastics Class. ( This program is in developement and adjustements to structure may be necessary)
This class is a structured class and designed to provide a safe and progressive opportunity for kids to learn to follow instructions. They will be taught how to move their body to create more awareness of balance, flexibility, strength and coordination. We have scheduled this class for a quieter time in our gym to provide less distraction for our special needs students. All students must bring a personal aide to assist them. Class will conists of a 5 minutes of warm up , 5 minutes of stretching, 5-10 minutes of line drills (expands on tumbling training) then 10-15 minutes of an obstacle course. They will get the opportunity to use all of our gymnastics training equipment with the instructors guidance and their aides support. This is not a free play class. NOTE: Safety is a priority here at Starz. If we feel the childs behaviors are too dangerous to keep them safely in the class then we may ask other arrangments to made. If a child has developed to a point where we believe they can be integrated into our primary gymnastics classes we will reccommend that.
Classes are paid at the beginning of each Month .
There are no roll over credits. No Prorations for missed classes. Make up classes will be announced If the payment for the session is not made within the first two weeks a late fee will be assessed and the student will not be able to continue training until a payment is made or the office manager authorized it.
